SALMETROL XINAFOATE

Salmetrol Xinafoate is a long-acting beta-agonist used primarily in the management of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It helps to relax the muscles of the airways, making breathing easier.

Indications

Dosage

Contra-Indications

-Hypersensitivity to Salmetrol or any component of the formulation. -Use in patients with acute bronchospasm or for the primary treatment of status asthmaticus.

Special Precautions

-Use with caution in patients with cardiovascular disorders. -Monitor for potential worsening of symptoms or onset of paradoxical bronchospasm. -Not recommended for use as a monotherapy for asthma; should be used in conjunction with inhaled corticosteroids.
