Shukti Bhasma

Shukti Bhasma is a traditional Ayurvedic medicine prepared from pearl oyster shell. It undergoes a purification process followed by calcination to obtain therapeutic benefits. It is primarily used in Ayurveda for its cooling, digestive, and healing properties.

Indications

-Hyperacidity and gastritis -Indigestion and heartburn -Skin disorders like acne and rashes -Calcium deficiency and bone health support

Dosage

-Powder: 125-250 mg once or twice daily, preferably with honey or milk, or as directed by an Ayurvedic practitioner. -Tablet or capsule: Follow the dosage recommendations on the product label or as advised by a healthcare provider.

Contra-Indications

-Hypersensitivity to pearl or shellfish allergies -Avoid use during pregnancy and breastfeeding unless prescribed by a healthcare provider
