Terfenadine
Terfenadine is an antihistamine used to relieve allergy symptoms such as hay fever and urticaria (hives). It works by blocking histamine, a substance in the body that causes allergic symptoms.-Allergic rhinitis (hay fever) -Urticaria (chronic hives)
-Adults: Typically, 60 mg twice daily. -Children: Dosage depends on the child's age and weight. Consult a healthcare provider for specific recommendations.
-Hypersensitivity to terfenadine or any component of the formulation. -Concomitant use with certain medications that can interact adversely (e.g., ketoconazole, erythromycin).
