TRIMETHOPRIM SULPHATE
Trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole (TMP-SMX) is a combination antibiotic medication consisting of trimethoprim and sulfamethoxazole. It works by inhibiting the production of folic acid in bacteria, thereby preventing their growth and multiplication.Trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole is commonly used to treat urinary tract infections, respiratory tract infections, gastrointestinal infections, and certain types of pneumonia caused by susceptible bacteria.
