Dr Suresh Kumar, Director of Lok Nayak Hospital has been given additional charge of Medical Director of Guru Tegh Bahadur Hospital.

Dr Kumar has replaced Dr Subhash Giri, who was recently appointed the new director of Lady Hardinge Medical College and associated hospitals.

It may be noted that Dr Suresh Kumar came in limelight when he was made the director of Lok Nayak Hospital when the hospital turned into a dedicated COVID19 facility in 2020.

Dr Kumar has served as the Professor and Director of the Department of Medicine at Maulana Azad Medical College.

Dr Kumar is credited to set up a dedicated hepatitis clinic in the hospital.
