Health Department seals illegal operation theaters in 4 NOIDA hospitals
A team from the health department in NOIDA has conducted raids in multiple hospitals and sealed operation theatres in four hospitals, operating illegally.
According to media reports, the authorities did not seal the hospitals as it would have caused inconvenience to the inpatients admitted to these hospitals.
According to Dr Vishal Trivedi, an official at the NOIDA Health Department, the officials discovered that a hospital in the Gulab Market area of the city was running an operation theatre without requisite permissions.
Similarly, three more hospitals operating in the Rahada bypass, Rampur Bhud Road and Rajput colony were running unregistered operation theatres as well.
The health officials further informed that cases have been registered against the management of the erring hospitals.
