In a noteworthy accomplishment, Delhi-AIIMS has received the esteemed title of "Best Multi-Speciality Hospital" in the prestigious THE WEEK-Hansa Research Survey: India's Best Hospitals 2023. The extensive survey, covering 17 crucial medical centers across India, including the National Capital Region, aimed to acknowledge excellence in healthcare.

The award was received by Prof K Verma, Dean, Academics and Professor and Head of Dermatology and Venerology  on behalf of AIIMS Director Prof M Srinivas. 

The thorough research methodology included gathering perceptual data through a primary survey involving 790 general physicians and 1,165 specialists.

To ensure a diverse representation from various cities and specialties, experts nominated and rated the top 10 multi-speciality hospitals nationally and within their respective cities. The validation of findings incorporated factual data from hospitals, secondary sources, and endorsements by leading doctors and opinion leaders in specialized fields.

AIIMS secured its top position based on its overall reputation, the competence of doctors, infrastructure and facilities, research and innovation, and patient care. The meticulous ranking methodology of the survey underscores AIIMS' commitment to excellence in healthcare across these critical parameters.
