Informa Markets in India proudly announces the launch of its much-awaited event, India Health, scheduled from June 13th to 15th, 2024, at the India International Convention Centre (IICC) in Dwarka, New Delhi. This inaugural event marks a pivotal moment for the healthcare industry, promising to create benchmarks and foster collaborative advancements.

India Health aims to serve as a comprehensive platform for the entire healthcare industry, modeled after the esteemed Arab Health. With India’s healthcare sector projected to reach US$638 billion by 2025, the need for such a gathering is evident. The sector has already achieved a value of USD 372 billion in 2023, driven by private and government initiatives, including relaxed FDI norms and the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission.

Over 300 leading global and domestic brands will showcase their products and services across various categories such as Medical Equipment & Devices, Orthopaedics & Physiotherapy, Imaging & Diagnostics, Healthcare & General Services, IT Systems & Solutions, Healthcare Infrastructure & Assets, and Wellness & Prevention. Confirmed participants include KLS Martin Group, Medikabazaar, Midmark, Narang Medical LTD, and Zimmer Medizinsysteme GmbH, with the Embassy of Hungary participating as the Country Partner.

The event is supported by esteemed associations like ADMI and MTAI, with AHPI and Frost & Sullivan as knowledge partners. "India Health is the heartbeat of our shows. There's never been a more opportune moment to launch such a groundbreaking event with India's healthcare sector rapidly expanding," said Mr. Yogesh Mudras, Managing Director of Informa Markets in India. He highlighted the event’s alignment with the 'Make in India' campaign and its focus on sectors like healthcare, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and chemicals.

The event will attract hospital purchase managers, CEOs, directors, biomedical engineers, consultants, distributors, doctors, regulators, and policymakers. The official country pavilion of Hungary will enrich attendees with diverse perspectives and innovations. India Health will feature a Transformation Zone showcasing start-ups and innovators with transformative products and new launches. Start-up pavilions will provide domestic entrepreneurs with opportunities to engage with industry experts and potential investors.

A robust 3-day conference programme with the theme ‘Converging the Healthcare World for Limitless Possibilities Outcomes’ will run alongside the main show. The programme will include 15 conferences covering a wide range of topics, with top-notch medical speakers in attendance. Key topics include ‘Accelerating Growth of Indian Healthcare Industry - Racing towards $550 Bn+ by 2030,’ ‘Market entry in Healthcare in India - Success stories, Challenges and best practices,’ and ‘AI-driven Digital Diagnostics.’

India ranks as the 4th largest medical device market globally and is projected to reach US$638 billion by 2025. Public health spending is projected to grow to 2.5% of the country’s GDP. The Indian medical tourism industry is estimated to surpass US$42 billion by 2032. Over $200 billion is earmarked for medical infrastructure spending by 2024. The medtech market in India is projected to reach $50 billion by 2025. Non-communicable diseases account for 7 out of the top causes of death in India, with 70% of the population residing in rural areas but having access to less than 30% of healthcare infrastructure.

India Health promises to be a landmark event, driving healthcare excellence, innovation, and collaboration while addressing the nation’s health needs.
