The Rotary Club of Delhi South East has generously donated essential medical equipment to the Pediatrics Department of Safdarjung Hospital in a ceremony attended by distinguished guests. The donated items, including a transport incubator, bilirubin meter, and infusion pump, are expected to significantly enhance neonatal and pediatric care at the hospital.

The inaugural function was graced by the presence of Medical Superintendent Dr. (Prof) Vandana Talwar, who officially unveiled the new medical equipment. Additional Medical Superintendents Dr. P. S. Bhatia, Dr. Kapil Suri, Dr. R. P. Arora, Dr. Gaurav Arora, Head of the Pediatrics Department Dr. Ratan Gupta, and esteemed faculty members of Safdarjung Hospital were also in attendance.

Addressing the gathering, the President of the Rotary Club of Delhi South East emphasized the organization’s commitment to supporting healthcare initiatives that benefit the community. “We are proud to contribute these life-saving devices to Safdarjung Hospital, a renowned institution dedicated to providing quality medical care. The donated transport incubator will ensure the safe transfer of premature and critically ill newborns between healthcare facilities. The bilirubin meter will aid in the early detection and management of neonatal jaundice, while the infusion pump will enable precise intravenous fluid and medication delivery for pediatric patients.
