An Englishman was gravely ill, and his son visited him in the hospital. Suddenly, the father began to breathe heavily and, with his last bit of strength, grabbed a pen and pad from the bedside. He scribbled a note, dropped it, and passed away.

The son, overwhelmed with grief, forgot about the note he had slipped into his pocket. At the funeral, he reached into his coat pocket and found the note. Excitedly, he thought it might be something to share during the service. The note read:

YOU WANKER -- GET OFF MY OXYGEN PIPE!
