Healthium Medtech and HSSC Partner to Boost Skill Development in Indian Healthcare
Healthium Medtech, a global leader in medical equipment, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Healthcare Sector Skill Council (HSSC) to strengthen skill development activities for the Indian healthcare workforce. This strategic cooperation focuses on providing healthcare workers with specialized training and certification to improve their abilities in vital areas such as wound closure, infection control, and advanced medical methods—all of which are essential for a high-performing healthcare system.
Healthium Medtech is known for developing novel medical equipment, primarily for surgical and post-surgical care, such as wound closure, enhanced wound care, and arthroscopy. Partnering with HSSC, a non-profit organization supported by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), aligns with India's "Skill India" program, a national initiative led by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) to improve employability through skilled development.
Underscoring the importance of the cooperation, Healthium's CEO & MD, Anish Bafna, satted, "Healthium has consistently committed to fostering excellence in healthcare by equipping professionals with the necessary skills and information for success."
“We are excited to expand our reach in skill development by partnering with HSSC to create practical, industry-relevant training that will have a direct influence on the quality of care patients get. We can assist in establishing a more capable and confident workforce by providing advanced, hands-on training to healthcare workers, preparing them to face the complexities of modern medical practices and achieve great patient results," he added.
The collaboration is a step toward providing healthcare personnel with hands-on, advanced skills via training modules developed by both organizations. The comprehensive programs will cover skilling, reskilling, and upskilling demands in the healthcare area, enabling professionals to successfully address the sector's developing issues.
Emphasizing on the strategic significance of this collaboration Ashish Jain, CEO of HSSC, said, "Working with Healthium Medtech matches our mission of raising healthcare standards in India by fostering a trained and adaptive workforce." Healthium's dedication to innovation and high-quality training makes them a perfect partner in our aim to improve the standard for healthcare skills. Together, we hope to set a new standard for skill development, contributing to a stronger, more resilient healthcare system that empowers India's youth with employable skills in a variety of industries and sectors."
As per the terms of the MoU, Healthium will hold training sessions throughout the year, providing personalized programmess that cover specialized healthcare skills. This effort increases Healthium's position in healthcare training while also supporting HSSC's aim of developing a competent workforce capable of satisfying the most rigorous industry standards.
