Project Aarogyatara, which strives to provide comprehensive and accessible primary care, organizes community-based eye screening camps in Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, and Bihar. The campaign addresses curable blindness through services like cataract surgery and spectacle distribution, focusing on disadvantaged communities, particularly low-income families that lack access to excellent healthcare.
Since its start, Project Aarogyatara has had a tremendous impact on the lives of countless people throughout five states, solidifying its position as a beacon of hope for disadvantaged regions. With over 1 million people checked for eye-related disorders, the program has delivered much-needed basic eye care to those who do not have regular access to healthcare.
