Indian Nurses Poised for Global Impact: Milestone Initiative Celebrates Placements in Germany
In a landmark event held in Kochi, 62 skilled nurses, primarily from Kerala, were celebrated for securing coveted positions in leading hospitals and care homes across Germany. Organized by the TERN Group in partnership with NSDC International, the event highlighted the nurses’ monumental achievement, which promises life-changing opportunities abroad with salaries reaching up to ₹3.5 lakhs per month after recognition in Germany.
Celebrating Excellence and Bridging Workforce Gaps
The event featured Mr. Alok Kumar, CEO of NSDC International, as the Chief Guest, who lauded the nurses for their commitment and underscored India’s critical role in addressing Germany’s acute healthcare workforce shortage. “Germany’s aging population and increasing care demands have created an urgent need for skilled nurses. Indian talent, with proper training and preparation, is ideally suited to fill this gap,” he stated. Mr. Kumar also emphasized the success of NSDC International’s collaboration with TERN Group, which boasts a 70% interview-to-selection success rate, supported by high-quality German language training, interview coaching, and cultural orientation programs.
A Vision for Ethical and Transparent Recruitment
Krishna Ramkumar, Founder and COO of TERN Group, shared the organization’s mission to tackle unethical practices in talent migration. “TERN was established to bring transparency and trust to the recruitment process. Our AI-powered platform simplifies hiring, working with over 150 clients across the UK, Germany, UAE, and the USA,” he remarked. He also highlighted TERN’s strategic acquisition of Rekruut, a German recruitment firm with a decade of experience and over 2,000 successful placements. This acquisition ensures compliance with Germany’s Gütesiegel Seal, a hallmark of high recruitment standards set by the German Federal Ministry of Health.
Transformative Journeys: Nurses Share Their Stories
The event also served as a platform for personal narratives, such as that of a nurse who shared her struggle of earning just ₹15,000 a month despite three years of professional experience in India. This initiative offers not only financial stability but also a renewed sense of purpose and pride for these healthcare professionals and their families.
Mission 2025: Scaling New Heights
Under Mission 2025, TERN Group and NSDC International aim to place over 2,000 nurses in Germany and 7,000 candidates globally in the coming year. This ambitious endeavor reflects the transformative potential of well-structured partnerships and targeted efforts to empower Indian healthcare professionals to thrive on the global stage.
A New Chapter for Kerala’s Nursing Talent
For Kerala, known for its robust healthcare workforce, this initiative represents a significant leap forward, bridging global skill shortages while enabling individuals to build prosperous futures abroad. The success of this program underscores the power of collaboration, innovation, and ethical recruitment in redefining opportunities for India’s skilled professionals.
Concluding the event, Mr. Alok Kumar and Mr. Krishna Ramkumar encouraged aspiring nurses to embrace this initiative as a pathway to fulfilling their dreams, paving the way for a brighter, globally connected future.
