RED.Health Honours Ambulance Pilots

Ambulance pilots are important for healthcare. Every day, they risk their lives to ensure that patients receive immediate medical assistance during emergencies. RED.Health, the only JCI-accredited emergency medical response platform in Asia and the largest in India, calls their team “pilots.” This name shows respect and recognition for their important work. To help these frontline heroes, RED.Health has started a welfare program to make their lives better and ensure a brighter future for them and their families.

The welfare program is based on RED.Health’s belief that its success depends on the commitment of its staff. The program provides money security, job advancement, and overall health benefits. Captains, who are senior pilots, can get up to INR 1,000 each month for school fees for their children. This helps lessen the cost of education. All pilots can get a yearly glasses benefit of INR 500, and senior pilots get medical insurance worth INR 3,600 each year. Captains get better medical coverage of INR 6,000 and lifestyle benefits worth INR 7,500 each year. They also receive premium office kits and extra allowances to help with their work and personal lives.

Prabhdeep Singh, the founder and CEO of RED.Health, shared his views on the initiative: “Our ambulance pilots are essential to our emergency response system, showing bravery and kindness during tough times.” They are the first to help in emergencies. Their hard work motivated us to make programs that do more than just say thank you. We want to provide real help and make their lives better. This welfare program shows our thanks and promise to care for them. We want all pilots to know that we appreciate their hard work, care for their families, and support their future. We want to create a lasting legacy of respect, care, and purpose for those who serve with outstanding dedication.

The program has more than 500 pilots in India. It offers chances to move up in their careers, get promotions, and have stable jobs for a long time. After retirement, there are support options in the plan that let retired pilots help by giving advice and training.

To help ambulance pilots with their challenges, RED.Health has teamed up with fitness centres like Cult to promote health and with fintech companies to offer financial assistance like salary advances, small loans, and investment plans. Partnerships provide cashback on everyday spending, helping to reduce money worries.

In the future, RED.Health plans to start more programs. These include training for managing vehicles, workshops to improve soft skills, help with housing, and emergency funds. These steps aim to fortify pilots in their profession, foster a supportive community, and instill a sense of pride in their work.
