Icaridin
Icaridin, also known as picaridin, is a synthetic compound used as an insect repellent. It is effective against a variety of pests, including mosquitoes, ticks, flies, and fleas. Icaridin is widely used as an alternative to DEET due to its comparable effectiveness and lower risk of skin irritation.Prevention of insect bites and protection against vector-borne diseases such as malaria, dengue fever, Zika virus, and Lyme disease.
