PM Modi to chair meeting on COVID19
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will chair a meeting on COVID19 amid a surge of cases of the pandemic in China, Japan, US, Brazil and some other countries.
The meeting will take place in the afternoon on December 22, 2022. The meeting will be attended by senior ministers and officials of the Government of India.
Several states’ chief ministers including UP CM Yogi Adityanath, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will take a review meeting on the pandemic in their respective states.
It may be noted that there is a sudden outbreak of COVID19 in China after the country gave relaxations.
There have been major protests in different regions of China to ease COVID19 restrictions.
Since these restrictions were eased the cases spurt due to which patients were seen in long queues outside hospitals.
