Apollo Cancer Centers and Cure Foundation Celebrate Resilience of Cancer Survivors

In a heartfelt ceremony on the eve of World Cancer Survivors’ Day, Apollo Cancer Centers Hyderabad, in collaboration with Cure Foundation India, honored the resilience and courage of cancer survivors at their Jubilee Hills location. The event celebrated the survivors' triumphant fight against cancer, offering hope and inspiration to those currently undergoing treatment.


A poignant moment of the celebration was the unveiling of the "Victory Bell" in the hospital lobby. This symbolic gesture, performed by caretakers and survivors, represents the triumph over cancer and serves as a beacon of hope for patients still in treatment. Each participant was also honored with gifts and souvenirs, adding a special touch to the day’s festivities.

The event facilitated inspiring interactions between survivors and patients, fostering a strong sense of community and shared strength. Caretakers and survivors shared their powerful stories, highlighting the importance of positivity and resilience in the face of adversity. Dr. Vijay Anand Reddy, Director of Apollo Cancer Hospital, praised the indomitable spirit of his patients. "Throughout my journey with cancer patients, I have witnessed unparalleled resilience and bravery. They have consistently shown that a positive outlook can be a formidable ally in the battle against cancer," he remarked.

Dr. Sangita Reddy, Joint Managing Director of Apollo Hospital Group, echoed these sentiments. "This program is a testament to the strength of the human spirit. As we unveil the Victory Bell, let it stand as a symbol of hope and victory, a reminder that cancer can be overcome. To all our survivors, caretakers, and patients, we salute you. Your bravery continues to inspire us and many others in their fight against cancer," she said.
