Gurugram-based Medharbour Hospital has taken a significant step towards stroke care by opening a cutting-edge stroke facility. Along with Medharbour Hospital CEO and co-founder Nishant Gupta and renowned neurologist Dr Bhupesh Kumar, Denmark's ambassador to India, Mr Freddy Svaneal, inaugurated the new facility.

The new stroke unit intends to provide comprehensive patient care, ensuring a smooth transition from admission to recovery. "We have equipped our Stroke Unit with the most advanced facilities, such as cutting-edge diagnostic tools, a dedicated intensive care unit, and a comprehensive rehabilitation centre," said Nishant Gupta, chief of staff.

He emphasised that the interdisciplinary team of the unit, comprising neurologists, physiotherapists, speech therapists, and trained nurses, is committed to delivering optimal care by utilising state-of-the-art medical technologies and rehabilitation procedures.
