‘Illness To Wellness’ Awareness Drive Held for Teachers and Other School Staff with Focus on Generating Awareness on Potential Health Issues

Many young people are developing lifestyle diseases since they lead poor diets or lack exercise. This emphasises the need of acting to preserve their health. With Yolohealth, the "Illness to Wellness" initiative hosted a health camp at Guru Harkrishan Public School, Vasant Vihar, on August 2 and 5, 2024. The camp served children as well as teachers. 

More than 160 camp attendees underwent complete health examinations covering 22 parameters, including BMI, blood pressure, and blood sugar. These tests are aimed to enable individuals take control of their health and prevent issues resulting from untreated diseases or ailments lacking diagnosis. 

The initiative forms part of a larger campaign stressing the need of early problem identification and aggressive medical control. Chairperson of the ASSOCHAM National CSR Council Anil Rajput remarked, "The health camps are very important for teaching people how important it is to find health problems early." "Our aim is to expand this project, so affecting more educational institutions and communities to support a better society." 

Starting on March 28, 2024, the "Illness to Wellness" initiative has hosted seven camps at well-known sites including Janpath, Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, Birla Mandir, and Aggarwal Digambar Jain Mandir. The project has received positive comments, and schools are eager to have more people engaged. 

At the camp, YoloHealth highlighted their HealthATM technology. Showing how health assessment has evolved over time, it employs IoT-enabled devices and HIPAA-compliant software backbone. This technology is supposed to assist speedy, precise health checks and remote services. 

Starting in 2014, the "Illness to Wellness" program aims to raise health and well-being by means of education, sustainable practices, and group efforts. Its continuous activities—health camps, webinars, awareness campaigns—are aimed to raise public health knowledge and results.
