1300 People Attend Eye Camp Greater Noida
More than 1,300 people took advantage of Jagat Pharma and Dr. Basu Eye Hospital's free eye check-up camp during the UP International Trade Show, which took place from September 25th to the 29th, 2024. Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, formally launched the camp at the India Expo Centre and Mart.
Through providing required eye exams, consultations with ophthalmologists, and instructions on follow-up treatment, the eye camp sought to increase access to high-quality eye care. The event gave attendees the tools they needed to keep their eyes healthy and, if necessary, recommended treatments.
"We are thrilled with the response from the attendees," Dr. Mandeep Singh Basu said, expressing happiness with the turnout. Basu is the director of Jagat Pharma and Dr. Basu Eye Hospital. Seeing so many people concerned about their eye health is inspiring. This camp was about more than just providing eye care; we wanted to spread the word about the importance of regular eye exams.
According to him, "We hope this initiative will encourage more people to prioritise their vision health and seek timely medical attention."
The event's success highlights Jagat Pharma and Dr. Basu Eye Hospital's commitment to community health improvement through outreach and free services. The growing number of participants is a testament to the rising tide of public awareness about the importance of regular eye exams in warding off visual issues.
