Lupin Strengthens Sustainability Commitments, Achieves Major Milestones in ESG Goals

Pharmaceutical giant Lupin has reaffirmed its dedication to sustainability with significant advancements in its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy, positioning itself as a leader in sustainable healthcare solutions. At the core of Lupin’s operations lies a robust sustainability framework, driving the company’s efforts to achieve net-zero emissions, enhance social impact, and maintain the highest standards of governance.

Lupin has made notable strides in environmental stewardship, reporting a 21% reduction in carbon emissions and increasing its reliance on renewable energy to 33.8% over the last year. Additionally, the company has achieved water positivity across all its operations, underlining its commitment to addressing climate change and resource management. These efforts are complemented by initiatives focused on water recycling, the circular economy, biodiversity assessment, and life cycle assessments (LCA).

The S&P score reaffirms our commitment to prioritizing sustainability and creating impactful and sustainable healthcare solutions that benefit our patients and our communities worldwide,” he stated.
