NTPC Dadri Signs MoU with Child Heart Foundation

In a significant step towards providing medical treatment to underprivileged children suffering from heart ailments in villages surrounding NTPC Dadri, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on January 14, 2025. The initiative falls under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) health activities of NTPC Dadri.


The MoU was signed by Mr. Wilson Abraham, Additional General Manager (Human Resources), NTPC Dadri, and Dr. Vikas Kohli, Secretary General, Child Heart Foundation, Delhi. The event also saw the presence of Ms. Sunita Harker Shalla, Chief Operating Officer of the Child Heart Foundation, Delhi.

Under this partnership, the Child Heart Foundation will conduct health camps in villages near NTPC Dadri to screen approximately 2,000 children for heart conditions. Following thorough medical evaluations, five children diagnosed with severe cardiac ailments will receive specialized treatment. Additionally, an echocardiography machine will be procured as part of the initiative to enable continuous screening of heart conditions in children.

The MoU aims to reduce the prevalence and mortality rates associated with pediatric heart diseases in the surrounding villages. Through this effort, NTPC Dadri seeks to raise awareness about heart ailments among villagers and empower them to take proactive measures for their children’s health.
