Krishna Group’s ‘Run for Good Health’ Brings Over 1,000 Participants Together for Wellness and Team Spirit

In a vibrant celebration of health, unity, and positivity, the Krishna Group brought together more than 1,000 participants this Sunday morning for its flagship event — the ‘Krishna Run for Good Health’, under the banner of its growing wellness movement, ‘Fit Krishna’.

Conceptualized by Mr. Ashok Kapur, Chairman of Krishna Group and Krisumi Corporation, the initiative reflects his enduring belief that good health is not just a personal pursuit, but the cornerstone of effective leadership, cohesive teams, and long-term success. Known for beginning every conversation with the question, “Are you taking care of your health?”, Mr. Kapur has instilled wellness into the very culture of the Krishna Group.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Kapur emphasized, “When you feel healthy, you feel limitless. That’s what being ‘on top of the world’ truly means. Good health is not a destination — it’s a way of life. When we prioritise our well-being, we unlock our best selves. Today’s incredible participation reinforces the strength of our values — togetherness, positivity, and a healthy lifestyle. The Fit Krishna Movement isn’t just about running — it’s about creating a future where positivity, performance, and purpose are all driven by a shared commitment to well-being.”

Held at Tau Devi Lal Stadium, the 10-km marathon witnessed enthusiastic participation from employees, senior leadership, and their families representing Krishna Group, SKH Group, Krisumi Corporation, and the Group’s various Trim plants. The day began with an energetic Zumba warm-up session, setting the tone for the run, which was ceremoniously flagged off by the Group’s top management.

The atmosphere was nothing short of festive, with dhol beats, energetic music, cheering squads, and an overall carnival-like spirit. Hydration stations, energy drinks, and loud cheers from family and colleagues kept the runners motivated throughout the marathon.

The Fit Krishna Movement is rapidly emerging as a model for India Inc., showcasing how wellness can be integrated into workplace culture. Beyond just physical fitness, the initiative represents a broader commitment to building healthier, happier, and more emotionally connected workplaces.

Winners were honored with trophies, while all participants proudly received medals, symbolizing their dedication to health and camaraderie.

With the resounding success of the event, Krishna Group continues to demonstrate that corporate culture can indeed be a powerful force for good — fostering environments where well-being, performance, and positivity walk hand in hand toward a stronger and healthier future.
