Birla Fertility & IVF Hosts ‘Fertility Unscripted’ in Delhi, Showcases Global Expertise to Shape India’s Reproductive Care Future
In a significant step toward redefining fertility care in India, Birla Fertility & IVF, the country’s third-largest IVF network under the USD 3 billion CK Birla Group, hosted a high-impact Continuing Medical Education (CME) programme, ‘Fertility Unscripted’, in the national capital.
The event brought together an elite panel of global and national fertility experts to deliberate on cutting-edge advancements in infertility treatment, high-risk pregnancy management, and the evolving landscape of reproductive technologies.
The programme was marked by a dynamic exchange of insights among some of the most renowned names in reproductive medicine. Eminent guests included Dr. (Prof.) Colonel Pankaj Talwar, President of the Indian Fertility Society (IFS), Dr. Neerja Bhatla, former Head of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at AIIMS, Dr. B.B. Dash, Gynaecologist and Laparoscopic Surgeon at Rejoice Hospital, and Dr. Jyotsana Pundir, an internationally recognized fertility expert with over 25 years of experience.
Senior clinicians from Birla Fertility & IVF, including Dr. Prachi Benara, Dr. Muskaan Chhabra, Dr. Shilpa Singhal, and Dr. Nidhi Tripathi, further enriched the discussions with their diverse expertise and clinical acumen. With infertility affecting nearly 15% of Indian couples—and only about 1% seeking treatment due to limited awareness and accessibility—the event aimed to bridge the knowledge and practice gap in fertility care.
Through ‘Fertility Unscripted’, Birla Fertility & IVF is fostering a culture of collaborative learning, evidence-based practice, and technological integration to make fertility treatment more effective, inclusive, and widely available.
The scientific sessions covered a broad spectrum of reproductive challenges and innovations. Key topics included advanced laparoscopic techniques in fertility care, the evolution of Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) regulations, recurrent pregnancy loss protocols, first-trimester screening beyond nuchal translucency, the role of smart surgeries in infertility, and developments in male infertility treatment.
The inclusion of emerging diagnostic tools and imaging technologies further highlighted the growing need for multidisciplinary collaboration to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Abhishek Aggrawal, CEO of Birla Fertility & IVF, emphasized the importance of such platforms in transforming reproductive healthcare. “Gynaecologists are often the first point of contact for individuals facing fertility challenges. Their ability to identify and address concerns early is critical. With Fertility Unscripted, we are fostering a community of shared knowledge and skill, enabling clinicians to stay at the forefront of global advancements. Our goal is to make reproductive care more accessible, standardised, and empathetic across India,” he said.
As Birla Fertility & IVF continues its rapid nationwide expansion, Fertility Unscripted reaffirms the organisation’s commitment to clinical excellence, international collaboration, and thought leadership in fertility care.
The event has set a new benchmark for reproductive health dialogue in India, uniting voices from across borders to elevate the standards of patient care. With this initiative, Birla Fertility & IVF is not just advancing fertility science—it is shaping the future of reproductive healthcare in India.
