Dengue Update: VMMC and SJH Report

Vardhman Mahavir Medical College (VMMC) and Safdarjung Hospital (SJH) have reported the latest figures on dengue cases, highlighting the current status and cumulative data for this mosquito-borne viral infection.

In the past 24 hours, two new suspected dengue patients have been admitted to the hospital. However, there are currently no patients admitted who have tested positive for dengue through IgM ELISA or NS1 antigen tests.

Since the beginning of July, VMMC and SJH have admitted a total of four dengue patients. Fortunately, there have been no reported deaths due to dengue at the facility so far.

Hospital authorities are continuing to monitor the situation closely and are urging the public to take preventive measures against mosquito bites and to seek medical attention promptly if dengue symptoms are suspected.
