In a significant acknowledgment of her impactful work in women’s menstrual health and hygiene, Prachi Kaushik, the founder and director of Vyomini Social Enterprise, has been awarded the esteemed 'Mahila Seva Shiromani Samman Award' by the Voluntary Health Association of Delhi (VHAD). This award celebrates her dedication to improving the lives of women and girls in marginalized communities, transforming how menstrual health is understood and addressed.


The award ceremony, attended by Chief Guest Shri Madan Lal, MLA, highlighted the urgent need for collective action to address menstrual health issues and promote gender equality. Commending Ms. Kaushik’s efforts, Shri Lal underscored the importance of empowering women and dismantling societal taboos surrounding menstruation, an essential step toward building a healthier and more equitable society.

Under Ms. Kaushik's leadership, Vyomini Social Enterprise has launched various initiatives focused on menstrual health education, providing resources to women and girls who lack access to necessary hygiene products and information.
