Delhi University Introduces Post Graduate Course in Public Health

Delhi University is embarking on a new venture by launching a Post Graduate Course in public health, with registration for the examination slated from April 25, 2024, to May 25, 2024.


Speaking to Drug Today Medical Times, Professor Yogesh Singh, the esteemed Vice Chancellor of Delhi University, emphasised the timeliness of this initiative, noting the pivotal role of healthcare in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

He underscored the broad scope of the field, highlighting its significance in addressing contemporary health challenges. A total of 60 seats have been allocated for the course, reflecting the university's commitment to nurturing future leaders in public health.

This innovative program is poised to attract aspiring professionals eager to contribute to the advancement of healthcare and make a meaningful impact on public health initiatives.

The course covers a wide range of topics, including epidemiology, health policy, disease prevention, and community health promotion. Students will explore the social, economic, and environmental factors influencing public health outcomes, gaining a deep understanding of the complexities of healthcare systems.

With a focus on practical application, students will have the opportunity to engage in fieldwork, internships, and research projects, allowing them to put their learning into action and make a tangible impact in real-world settings.
