Goyal Hospital Hosts Blood Donation Camp on Doctors’ Day

In celebration of Doctors' Day, Goyal Urology Centre in Krishna Nagar organized a significant blood donation camp, offering a life-saving gift to those in need. The event attracted participants from various walks of life, all united by a common cause—saving lives through blood donation.

Dr. Anil Goyal, Head of Goyal Urology Centre, emphasized the importance of blood donation, stating, "Blood can be donated not only by healthy individuals but also by those with controlled hypertension and diabetes. The 350 ml of blood donated is replenished within twenty-four hours, and individuals can donate blood every three months. Blood is crucial during surgeries, emergencies such as accidents, and heart surgeries."

The camp was organized in collaboration with Dr. Hedgewar Aarogya Sansthan, a government hospital, Sadev Sath Foundation, and the Indian Medical Association. Dr. Goyal highlighted the benefits of donating blood, noting, "Those who donate blood have a lower chance of heart attacks. We provide a card to all donors, allowing them to receive blood from Dr. Hedgewar Aarogya Sansthan when needed."

Dr. Goyal urged everyone to consider donating blood, stressing its vital role in saving lives and promoting health. The camp not only marked a meaningful way to celebrate Doctors' Day but also fostered a spirit of community and compassion.
